Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed HLTA professionals to work across Doncaster schools. This role offers an immediate start or October 2026 start, with flexible full-time or part-time opportunities depending on school needs.

HLTAs will support teaching and learning, deliver interventions, and lead classes when required, while fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for pupils.

Qualifications

• Relevant HLTA experience or HLTA qualification.
• Experience delivering interventions and leading small group sessions.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom environment.
• Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Leading whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher when required.
• Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Supporting behaviour management and safeguarding procedures.
