Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking dedicated SEN Specialist Tutors to provide personalised, one-to-one outreach tuition to secondary-aged students across Bromley, from Year 7 through to GCSE.

This role focuses on Maths and English with Science at GCSE level desirable. Most referrals are 10-15 hours per student per week, usually during school hours, and tuition may take place in the learner's home or a community setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience teaching secondary Maths and English.
• Experience working with students from Year 7 through to GCSE.
• Two years' or more experience supporting SEN/SEND learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one outreach tuition to secondary learners (Year 7 to GCSE).
• Teach Maths and English across the secondary age range.
• Assess learning needs and identify gaps; plan personalised learning programmes.
• Adapt teaching methods for different SEND profiles and learning styles.
• Monitor progress and maintain records; provide feedback to parents and schools.
