Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking dedicated SEN Specialist Tutors to provide personalised, one-to-one outreach tuition to secondary-aged students across Bromley, from Year 7 through to GCSE. This outreach role involves flexible delivery in learners’ homes or community settings, typically during school hours.

You will deliver engaging, highly individualised tuition, focusing on Maths and English with additional Science at GCSE being desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Maths and English to secondary students (Year 7–GCSE).
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/SEND.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one outreach tuition to secondary-aged learners (Year 7–GCSE).
• Teach Maths and English confidently across the secondary age range.
• Assess learning needs and plan personalised programmes.
• Adapt teaching methods for different SEND profiles.
• Support EHCP targets and GCSE preparation.
• Maintain records of progress and communicate with families and schools.
