Job summary

SENCare Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a special primary school in Poole, Dorset, to recruit an Education Support Worker. The role supports children aged 4-11, with autism, SEMH, and other needs, and includes personal care, following ECHPs, and building trust with vulnerable students.

Qualifications

Job description

SEN Education Support Worker - Special Primary School - Poole, Dorset.

SENCare Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a special primary school that is seeking experienced teaching assistants to support children who have autism, mild and profound needs and SEMH.


Start: ASAP


Duration: 5 days a week - ongoing.


Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm


The ideal candidate -

About us:

  • will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
  • experience supporting students aged 4 - 11
  • will provide personal care
  • able to follow students ECHPs
  • experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
  • the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
  • have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
