Job summary

SENCare Recruitment Ltd is working on behalf of a special primary school in Ealing seeking experienced teaching assistants to support children with autism, SEMH and complex needs. The role runs ASAP, five days a week, 8.30am to 4.30pm, with a focus on safeguarding and building strong relationships with vulnerable students.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months’ experience in similar settings, knowledge of ASD, PMLD and trauma, and hold a clear DBS with update service.

Qualifications

• Will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, SEMH and some profound needs.
• Experience supporting students aged 4–11 years.
• Will provide personal care.
• Must have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.

Hours:

8.30am - 4.30pm

The ideal teaching assisant -

• will have at least 6 months experience supporting students with autism, social emotional mental health difficulties, some profound needs.
• experience supporting students aged 4 - 11
• will provide personal care
• able to follow students ECHPs
• experienced with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, trauma, sensory processing, and social communication teaching background
• the ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
• have a clear DBS registered to the update service - child and adult checked.
