Job summary

SENCare Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a special primary school in Poole, Dorset, to recruit an Education Support Worker. The role supports children aged 4-11, with autism, SEMH, and other needs, and includes personal care, following ECHPs, and building trust with vulnerable students.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of relevant experience, a clear DBS on the update service, and a calm, compassionate approach to help children access learning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience supporting students with autism and SEMH.
• Experience with children aged 4–11.
• Able to provide personal care.
• Clear DBS on the update service.
• Ability to build strong relationships with vulnerable students.

Responsibilities

• Support children with autism and SEMH in class settings.
