Job summary

SENCare Recruitment Ltd is seeking a SEN Teacher for a full-time, ongoing role in Poole, Dorset. The post focuses on supporting students with autism and complex needs in a school setting.

You will work with staff to provide specialist education, maintain safeguarding standards, and track EHCPs and P-Levels to support student progress.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience teaching students with Autism and complex needs.
• Clear DBS on the update service.
• Experience with PECs and Makaton.
• Follow and track all students EHCPs.
• Clear understanding of P-Levels.
• Experience with children aged 4-19.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialist education for vulnerable children.
• Work with TAs to ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Liaise with senior leadership to meet sensory and individual needs.

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher, looking for a full-time role?

SENCare Recruitment is currently seeking Teachers to support students with autism and severe learning difficulties.

The ideal SEN Teacher must have:

• At least 6 months experience teaching students with Autism and complex needs.
• A clear DBS on the update service
• Some PECs and Makaton experience
• Follow and track all students EHCPs
• Clear understanding of P-Levels
• Experience with children aged 4-19
• A compassionate and fun attitude towards work

Main duties:

• Providing specialist education for vulnerable children
• As Teacher you will work closely with other members of staff (TAs) to ensure all safeguarding procedures are met to ensure the safety of the children is not compromised.
• To liaise with senior leadership team to ensure all sensory expectations are met for each individual child.
