Job summary

Veritas Education are partnering with a cluster of Harrogate and North Yorkshire schools to recruit experienced Early Years and Primary SEN teachers for long-term and daily cover. These roles span EY and Primary cohorts, with learners aged 4 to 19 who have a range of learning, physical and communication needs.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have EY/Primary experience, and be able to support learners with complex needs in a supportive, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on Early Years or Primary education.
• Experience teaching Early Years and Primary classes is essential.
• Previous SEN experience and ability to teach diverse needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across early years and primary with varied learning needs.
• Adapt teaching to support learners with complex needs, including communication and sensory challenges.
• Collaborate with classroom staff, SLT and medical professionals to support learners.
