Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds seeking a Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term roles with an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver phonics and guided reading, support pupils with SEND, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs across EYFS and KS1.

The role requires QTS (ECTs welcomed), UK primary teaching experience, and excellent classroom management. On offer are 24/7 consultant support, CPD, competitive pay, and a referral scheme.

Job description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who can provide engaging learning experiences and confidently support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary Teacher will have experience delivering phonics and guided reading, alongside sound knowledge of SEND and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience teaching across EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Experience delivering phonics and guided reading
• Sound knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability
