Job summary

Laurus Grace invites applications for enthusiastic Class Tutors to join our growing team. The successful candidates will support young people with additional needs, work closely with subject teachers, and help adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.

This 35-hour-per-week role is based at our 11-16 Free School in the Greater Manchester area. We value flexible arrangements where possible and offer a supportive, inclusive environment with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable and/or have special educational needs.
• Experience delivering intervention to small groups or one-to-one students.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in the classroom and adapt materials to meet individual needs.
• Be the main pastoral contact for students and their parents/carers.
