Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a dependable Behaviour Support Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. You will support students with diverse needs, both inside and outside the classroom, using a calm, patient and proactive approach.

In this role you will work one-to-one or in small groups, helping with lessons and everyday routines while managing challenging behaviour. A physically active, hands-on mindset and commitment to safeguarding are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning, behaviour and day-to-day routines.
• Assist the class teacher with lessons and structured activities.
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Manage challenging behaviour with consistency and confidence.
• Support students during breaks, transitions and off-site activities.
• Assist with personal care needs when required.
