Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a SEN environment in Uxbridge. You will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs, collaborating with teachers to implement positive strategies.

The role focuses on developing tailored interventions, fostering resilience and social skills, and serving as a positive role model to improve student engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN or behavioural support role.
  • Patient, empathetic and committed to helping students overcome challenges.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident in implementing behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies.
  • Adaptable, proactive and able to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement positive behaviour strategies.
  • Develop and deliver tailored interventions to help students manage their emotions and behaviour effectively.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing environment, helping students build self-confidence and social skills.
  • Act as a positive role model, guiding students towards improved behaviour and engagement in learning.
