Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for schools in Redbridge. The role involves monitoring pupils in lessons, supporting teachers and other staff, and maintaining a calm, positive presence around the campus.

You will model good behaviour and help students stay on track throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have classroom experience, an ability to build rapport with students and staff, a genuine interest in education, and be available for at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Have some classroom based experience.
• Be able to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
• Have a degree in English, Maths or Science. (Not essential)
• Be available for work at least 3 days a week
• Enthusiasm and desire to help students achieve

Responsibilities

• Monitor students in lessons and support teachers and staff.
• Deal with issues arising and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Be a visible presence around the school to deter disruptions.
• Contribute to students’ progress by keeping them on track throughout the day.
