Job summary

Empowering Learning, in partnership with local schools in Redbridge, invites applications for a Classroom Behaviour Buddy. The role supports pupils with ASD, MLD or challenging behaviour, working with class teachers and SENDCo to tailor learning approaches in a 2:1 support model.

Candidates should have eligibility to work in the UK, experience in UK primary/secondary settings, DBS Update Service or willing to apply, and a passion for SEN.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK or UK resident.
• Experience in a UK primary/secondary school.
• Previous Teaching Assistant experience within the last 12 months.
• DBS registered on Update Service or willing to apply for a new DBS.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASD/MLD or challenging behaviour in lessons.
• Work with teachers and SENDCo to implement tailored learning plans.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional boundaries.
