Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEND in St Helens. The role involves one-to-one and small group support to help manage behaviour, build confidence and promote engagement.

You will work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals, delivering tailored strategies and tracking progress. Immediate start with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN or additional needs.
• Calm, consistent behaviour management.
• Full UK driving licence with vehicle access.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils manage behaviour and build confidence.
• Deliver tailored strategies to support engagement, learning and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Track progress and positively reinforce achievements.
• Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience, independence, and self-esteem.
