TimePlan Education is seeking a Behaviour Mentor in Rochdale to provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support for pupils with ASC, ADHD and SEMH. You will help them manage emotions, develop positive behaviours and overcome barriers to learning.

An immediate start is available, with a full-time, long-term role during term-time. You will work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to maintain a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment and build positive relationships with pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN, SEMH, behaviour support, youth work or education.
• Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with pupils, teachers and SEN professionals.
• Strong communication and resilience in challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1, small-group and classroom support for pupils.
• Help pupils manage emotions and develop positive behaviours.
• Use de-escalation strategies and maintain safe learning environments.
• Support emotional regulation and establish consistent routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams and SEN professionals.
