Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd seeks SEN 1:1 Tutors in Wellingborough to provide tailored, in-home or school-based tuition during school hours. Roles vary from part-time to full-time, across primary and secondary pupils with SEND needs. Travel between locations may be required.

Applicants should have UK teaching/tutoring experience, knowledge of the National Curriculum, and a current DBS update or willingness to obtain one. Competitive pay is offered with support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication, behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel between tuition locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each pupil’s needs.
• Support primary and secondary pupils in line with curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons addressing SEND needs with differentiated strategies.
• Monitor pupil progress and complete session reports after each lesson.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools and professionals.
