Job summary

Academics is recruiting SEN Tutors in Wellingborough to deliver tailored tuition for children and young people with Special Educational Needs, in home and community settings. You will adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and track progress while building strong, supportive relationships for learner engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people is preferred but not essential.
• A good understanding of Special Educational Needs is desirable.
• Knowledge or experience of supporting pupils with EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) would be advantageous.
• Strong English and Maths skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised tuition to children with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Support learners within home and community settings.
