Job summary

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a child with additional needs, initially in KS1. This 1:1 role is fixed-term until 31 August 2031 and runs term-time only, 15 hours per week from 12:15 to 3:15 pm.

The successful candidate will be caring, enthusiastic and resilient, with experience working with children and an understanding of Autism, and may provide personal care when needed. Applications close soon.

Contract:FIXED TERM (Until 31/08/31), TERM TIME ONLY

Hours:15 hours per week (12:15 - 3:15 pm) each day

Salary:Scale 3 Pt 6 - 7

An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team to support a child with additional needs, initially in KS1.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is caring, positive, compassionate and enthusiastic
  • Has the ability to use their own initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Has experience in working with children on a 1:1 or small group basis and a good understanding of Autism and able to provide personal care when needed
