Job summary

A UK-based educational institution is seeking a Specialist Learning Mentor to provide 1:1 support for students both in and out of the classroom. The role involves assisting with materials, motivating students, and supporting those with specific learning difficulties, especially Autism Spectrum Condition. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience. The salary range is £17,936.61–£19,146.74 per annum.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate English and Maths skills equivalent to Level 2.
• Experience of supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition.
• Experience of working with learners on a 1-2-1 basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide support 1:1 in-class or mentoring support outside the classroom.
• Assist class lecturers with preparation or adaptation of materials.
• Promote and support independent learning, particularly through technology.
