Job summary

E3 Recruitment is looking for a Semi-Skilled Auto Electrician to join a growing manufacturing business in the St Helen's area. The role offers a clean, modern workshop and long‑term development opportunities, with Monday to Friday days and an early finish on Fridays.

You will install and service auxiliary vehicle equipment, fault‑find 12V/24V systems, and interpret wiring diagrams to deliver bespoke installations to customer specs. Overtime and pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle electrics, diagnostics and installations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installation and wiring of auxiliary vehicle equipment such as beacons, CCTV, and solar systems.
• Fault finding and repair of 12V/24V electrical systems.
• Interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams for bespoke vehicle installations.

Duties of the Semi-Skilled Auto Electrician role include:

• Installation and wiring of auxiliary vehicle equipment, including beacons, light bars, CCTV and ANPR systems, inverters, and solar battery systems.
• Fault‑finding, diagnostics, and repair of 12V and 24V electrical systems, wiring looms, and associated components.
• Interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to deliver high‑quality, bespoke vehicle installations in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.

We welcome applicants for the Semi-Skilled Auto Electrician role from individuals who have Auto Electrical experience (HGV/LCV/PSV/commercial vehicles), Strong fault‑finding skills with 12v/24v systems and able to work independently and as part of a team.
