The Role
As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment across a range of vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
• Repairing vehicle wiring, electrical systems, and components
• Tracing and rectifying complex electrical faults
• Installing bespoke electrical equipment and vehicle accessories
• Fitting parking sensors and additional electrical equipment to older vehicles
• Testing electrical systems following repairs and installations
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Accurately recording completed repairs and installations
• Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail

About You

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant automotive or electrical discipline
• Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, Vehicle Electrician, Automotive Electrician, or similar
• Strong vehicle electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience repairing vehicle wiring and electrical systems
• Experience installing aftermarket or bespoke electrical equipment
• The ability to work confidently and independently when diagnosing faults
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• A practical, problem-solving approach
