Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview

1. Accounts Preparation:

• Assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under supervision.
• Work with clients such as limited companies, sole traders, LLPs, and partnerships across various sectors.

Tax Compliance:

• Assist in preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines.
• Support senior staff in tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for savings.

Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare journals.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and provide guidance on accounting software.

Client Management:

• Communicate with clients to gather financial data, address inquiries, and update on work progress.
• Build strong relationships, ensuring client needs are met and issues resolved promptly.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with colleagues across departments for seamless service delivery.
