Job description

Our client is a well-established independent chartered accountancy practice based in Kettering, Northamptonshire, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. The successful Accounts Senior will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified.

This is a mixed role focusing on audit, tax & accounts for a portfolio of clients. This role would be ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant or Semi-senior looking to progress.

The successful Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within the business with routes of progression leading all the way to Partner level.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of statutory accounts
• Prepare management accounts for a variety of clients
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
• Handling a range of differing clients in a facing role
• Carrying out the field work, testing and planning of audits
• Training and assisting with junior members of staff's work
• This position is ideal for QBE, qualified Accountants or part qualified candidates
• Within a commutable distance of Kettering
• Experience within a similar position previously or seeking a progressive step
• Experience with cloud software is essential for the role
• Strong proven knowledge of statutory accounts preparation
• Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm
• Flexibility with working from home
