Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is working with an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' SEMH alternative provision in Failsworth to appoint a long-term SEMH Youth Worker starting after October half term.

You will support KS3/KS4 pupils to engage with learning, build positive relationships and use a calm, consistent approach to managing challenging behaviour; salary is £92.63–£115 per day under PAYE.

A dedicated team of consultants, CPD opportunities and a referral scheme are available.

Qualifications

• Understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Ability to build trust with young people and encourage engagement in learning.
• Strong communication skills to work with teaching and support staff.
• Patient, resilient and consistent approach to supporting pupils.
