Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an SEMH Inclusion Support Worker in Bradford to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 with learning, behaviour and emotional regulation, using trauma-informed approaches.

The role focuses on creating a structured, supportive environment and works with pupils who require additional SEMH support. On offer are ongoing opportunities, competitive daily rates, and a supportive onboarding process.

Qualifications

• CPI training completed.
• MAPA training completed.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £100 - 120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH Secondary provision in Bradford, supporting young people who require additional social, emotional and mental health support. The provision is focused on creating a structured and supportive environment where pupils can engage positively with their education.

The provision is looking for an SEMH Inclusion Support Worker for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, working with pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful SEMH Inclusion Support Worker will support pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional regulation while using trauma-informed approaches to help maintain a safe and positive environment.

The successful SEMH Inclusion Support Worker will have:

• CPI training
• MAPA training
• Trauma-informed training
• Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Experience working with young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
