Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Leeds is seeking a SEN Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring to students with SEN, either at home or in school, with flexible hours and options for part-time or full-time roles.

You will adapt lesson plans to individual learning needs, support social and emotional development, maintain safeguarding standards, and collaborate with parents and professionals to ensure cohesive support and progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Ability to build rapport and motivate students with varying engagement.
  • Strong safeguarding and confidentiality knowledge.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptable teaching methods.
  • Relevant education or support work qualifications.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role:SEN Tutor
Location: Face-to-Face, in Home or School, Leeds/ Wakefield
Hours: Monday to Friday, Flexible Hours
Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time Options Available

Key Responsibilities
