Job summary

Integra Education is seeking tutors to support Looked After Children and students with SEND or SEMH in Warrington and surrounding areas. The role focuses on long-term consistency, building trust, and helping learners overcome barriers to educational progress.

You will plan and deliver UK-curriculum English and Maths tuition up to GCSE, differentiate lessons, and maintain supportive relationships. Flexible hours from 1 to 25 per week with term-time scheduling; pay up to £30 per hour, umbrella,

Qualifications

• UK-recognised teaching qualification or proven tuition experience.
• Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH (essential).
• Strong English and Maths knowledge.
• Ability to differentiate lessons effectively.
• Patient, resilient and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Tutor – SEND / SEMH | Warrington & Surrounding Areas

Integra Education is committed to supporting Looked After Children (LAC), students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and young people experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, including those who are currently out of mainstream education.

Due to a significant increase in demand, we are receiving a high volume of tuition requests across Warrington and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for passionate tutors to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional, tailored support.

This is a long-term role focused on providing consistency, building trust, and helping students overcome barriers to learning while working towards positive educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Support students working below age-related expectations

What We’re Looking For:

• A UK-recognised teaching qualification or proven tuition experience
• Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs (essential)
• Strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths
• The ability to differentiate lessons effectively
• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
