A specialist independent school in Somerset is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team, working with students aged who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and other additional learning needs.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you ll play a key part in helping students thrive both academically and personally. Working alongside teachers and therapists, you ll provide personalised, hands-on support in both the classroom and 1:1 settings to help build confidence, independence, and positive routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students across a variety of subjects and activities
Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to meet individual learning needs
Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage student engagement
Promote consistent, supportive behaviour management
Assist with classroom planning, preparation, and organisation
