We are looking for enthusiastic Specialist Teaching Assistant - Technician to join our Service.
An exciting opportunity to work in a well-established service with a commitment to quality improvement.
The role involves providing support to children and young people with visual impairment, adapting and producing resources, using technology and managing the loan of resources and equipment, working with teachers of the visually impaired, supporting the delivery of training opportunities
This is a peripatetic post covering 4 local authorities (Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Bath & NE Somerset).
You will be able to communicate effectively with a variety of professionals, parents and children and have a good level of experience in working with children and who have SEN, direct experience working with children, use or have the ability to learn to use a range of specialist assistive technology.
Due to the nature of this role, you are required to travel independent to meet the requirements of this post.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
