Job summary

Lingey House Primary School invites applications for a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join The Nest, our SEMH provision supporting pupils with EHCPs. Qualifications

• Has experience and specialist knowledge of supporting SEMH needs and EHCPs.
• Builds positive, trusting relationships with children and understands belonging, nurture and inclusion.
• Is passionate about helping children develop their emotional regulation, confidence and independence, alongside their learning.
• Will promote our school ethos and values through daily interactions with children, families and colleagues.
• Is calm, flexible and resilient, and can support children sensitively through challenging situations.
• Works effectively with teachers, support staff, families and other professionals to support children’s individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
• Is committed to continued professional development.
• Has high expectations of themselves and the children they support.
• Has experience of working within a school setting (essential).

Responsibilities

• Support The Nest SEMH provision and pupils with EHCPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and other professionals to plan and implement personalised learning.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusive practice across the school.
• Contribute to positive behaviour support and emotional wellbeing.
• Attend training and engage in ongoing professional development.
