TimePlan Education seeks a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Bushey, Hertfordshire. You will support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs both in and out of the classroom, helping them engage with learning and develop positive relationships.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SEMH, be patient and resilient, and able to manage challenging behaviour while building trusted partnerships with pupils and staff.
Location: Bushey , Hertfordshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Term-time only
We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant.
The successful candidate will work with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing support both in and outside the classroom. You will play an important role in helping students to engage with their education, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships.
Applicants must hold a Child Workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
If you need to apply for a new DBS, you may be eligible to receive a refund for the cost after successfully completing 20 days of work, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
