Job summary

Aspire People in King's Lynn is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a school on a daily and long-term supply basis. You will support students with SEMH needs, assist the class teacher, and help learners access the curriculum in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEMH or related needs.
• Ability to implement de-escalation strategies and behavior management.
• Good verbal and written communication to build rapport with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support for SEMH students.
• Assist with classroom management and lesson delivery.
• Provide emotional and pastoral support to students.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create individual plans.
• Track progress and report on emotional and academic development.
