Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Harrow is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school setting. You will provide targeted one-to-one and small group support to help learners stay engaged and progress academically.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver inclusive lessons, manage emotions and behaviour positively, and help create a safe, nurturing environment. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in education, youth work, care, support work, or similar backgrounds is welcomed.

SEMH Teaching Assistant Required in Harrow

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Harrow area.

This rewarding role involves working closely with students who require additional behavioural, emotional, and academic support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:
