Job summary

Education at Ivy Resource Group is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist setting in Stroud. The role focuses on delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to pupils with SEMH needs within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have QTS/QTLS or equivalent, strong classroom management, and a passion for helping vulnerable learners develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
• Experience with SEMH, SEND or similar provision settings.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Calm, patient, and able to build positive relationships with vulnerable learners.
• High expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Commitment to inclusive and supportive learning environments.
• Ability to work effectively within a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated SEMH lessons.
• Manage behaviour positively using agreed strategies.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and carers.
• Track progress against individual targets and contribute to MDT meetings.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and multi-agency meetings where required.
