Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated Student Engagement & Wellbeing Mentor to work in a specialist SEMH school in Colchester, supporting pupils to access education, manage emotions and build positive relationships.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, help pupils develop emotional regulation and resilience, and work alongside teachers to create a safe, structured learning environment. Immediate start.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs is preferred.
• Experience as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar roles is valuable.
• Patience, empathy and consistency when engaging with pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive relationships with pupils with SEMH needs.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to enable access to learning.
• Support emotional regulation, resilience and confidence in pupils.
• Contribute to a safe, structured learning environment alongside teaching staff.
• Celebrate progress and encourage future skill development.
