Job summary

Merton Council's SEND Support and Inclusion Service is seeking a Specialist SEMH Teacher to join a dynamic and growing team. The post is a one-year fixed-term contract and requires experience teaching pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will support colleagues to develop practice, promote positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND, and contribute to whole-school inclusion approaches with emphasis on collaborative, multi-agency working

Qualifications

• Experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs.
• Experience supporting colleagues to develop practice and promote SEND outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with parents and carers.

Responsibilities
