London Borough of Merton's Merton SEND Support and Inclusion Service - Primary SEMH Team is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team in London. You will work with pupils and staff to promote inclusion for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, supporting schools to meet diverse needs.

The role involves building rapport with pupils, offering practical support to schools, and guiding adults in schools through modelling good practice.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs in schools or youth settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and parents to reduce anxiety.
• Flexible approach and initiative in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils and staff to promote inclusion for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Provide support and guidance to adults in schools through modelling good practice.
