Job summary

Career Teachers UK is seeking an experienced SEMH Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN provision in Rotherham. The role focuses on pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, delivering engaging lessons to Year 5 and Year 6 in a supportive environment.

You will hold QTS and have proven SEMH/SEN experience with strong behaviour management, the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, and a nurturing, adaptable approach to teaching.

Qualifications

• Strong behaviour management to support pupils with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 5 and Year 6 in a specialist SEMH SEN provision.

We are currently seeking an experienced SEMH Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN provision based in Rotherham.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and development of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Role Details:

• Position: SEMH Primary Teacher
• Location: Rotherham
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Year Groups: Year 5 and Year 6
• Setting: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Provision

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within SEMH, SEN, or alternative provisions
• Strong behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• A nurturing, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching
