SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant, New Milton

Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a DBS on the Update Service? Looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives? Prospero Teaching is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants in New Milton.

This specialist setting caters to children and young people in years 7 to 11 who find mainstream education challenging. The school prides itself on recognizing and addressing the barriers to education faced by their students.

Position: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) TA

Experience, Training, and Qualifications
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable but not essential)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with SEN needs
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)
Eligibility Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
