Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a SEMH SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Braintree, Essex. The role offers daily supply through long-term contracts with flexible full-time or part-time hours across all key stages.

Ideal candidates will have recent UK classroom experience and knowledge of SEN needs (SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD). DBS checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Recent UK classroom experience (minimum 3 months) essential
• Experience with SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD or other complex needs
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Eligible to work in the UK with valid DBS/police checks

Responsibilities

• Classroom support in mainstream primary schools
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance to learners
• Assist across different year groups and key stages as needed
