Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in Esher, Surrey, is recruiting Pupil Support Assistants to join a brand-new specialist SEMH school opening this September. You will support pupils aged 7–17 with SEMH and MLD, providing 1:1 and small-group support to help them feel safe, valued and ready to learn.

You will work with teachers and the pastoral team from 8:30am to 4:30pm on a 12‑month fixed-term contract, with a day rate of £110 and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, SEND, care or youth work is desirable.
• Calm, empathetic and resilient with a positive attitude.
• Able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
• Passionate about helping pupils reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support throughout the school day.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Build trusting relationships with pupils to boost engagement and confidence.
• Support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to meet pupil needs.
