Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in Esher, Surrey, is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a brand-new specialist school opening this September to support pupils aged 7-17 with SEMH and MLD.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, promoting engagement, confidence and positive behaviour, and close collaboration with teachers to deliver personalised help. The position is full-time, £110 per day, 8:30am–4:30pm, 12-month fixed-term, starting September.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a SEND, SEMH or education setting.
• A calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Support pupils in and out of the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider team to deliver personalised support.
• Build positive relationships that help pupils thrive.
