Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a school in Prescot to recruit a confident KS2 Primary Teacher for a long-term, immediate-start role. You will plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons while supporting SEMH needs and promoting positive behaviours across the class.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome) and have strong classroom management, with the ability to differentiate instruction to suit diverse learners. This is paid on a PAYE basis with market-leading rates.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS is required (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum, ideally KS2.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs.

Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher
Location: Prescot
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Do you have strong classroom management skills and experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

Are you a resilient and adaptable teacher who can inspire young learners and promote positive behaviour in the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school based in Prescot, who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher. The school is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment, supporting pupils with a range of academic, social and emotional needs.

The school is looking to take on a confident KS2 Primary Teacher on a long-term basis, with an Immediate Start available. The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, whilst supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges through effective classroom management, positive behaviour strategies and differentiated teaching.

The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum, ideally across Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to implement positive behaviour strategies
• The ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning abilities and individual needs
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for supporting young people
