Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a school in Prescot to appoint a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher on a long-term basis with an Immediate Start.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum, support pupils with SEMH needs, manage behaviour effectively, and differentiate teaching to meet diverse abilities in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum, ideally across Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to implement positive behaviour strategies
• The ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning abilities and individual needs
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for supporting young people

Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher

Location: Prescot

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £120 - £180 per day

The school is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment, supporting pupils with a range of academic, social and emotional needs.

The school is looking to take on a confident KS2 Primary Teacher on a long-term basis, with an Immediate Start available. The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, whilst supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges through effective classroom management, positive behaviour strategies and differentiated teaching.

The successful KS2 Primary Teacher will have:
