Job summary

Elementa Support Services Ltd is recruiting for a SEND Learning Support Mentor at our Gloucester Staverton site. The role operates 9:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time.

You will support pupils with SEMH, trauma and ASC, delivering an alternative education curriculum and engaging families to reinforce boundaries at home. Training in Team Teach/PBM/MAPA and Thrive is offered, with the role transitioning to a permanent contract after the 60-day trial period.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with SEMH, trauma and ASC.
• Ability to engage parents to support children at home.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and behaviour management training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an alternative education curriculum to learners.
• Support learners with challenging behaviours and learning needs.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement intervention strategies.
