Elementa Support Services Ltd is recruiting a SEND 1:1 Learning Support Mentor ASD / ASC, SEMH in Weston-super-Mare. Temp-perm, full-time (Mon-Fri, 9:30am–3:30pm), starting October 2026, with a salary of £19,170.43–£21,672 p.a. (£15.38–£17.95ph during trial). The role focuses on SEMH learners, many with trauma, delivering an alternative education curriculum and creating tailored activities. Team Teach training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEMH learners and trauma-informed approaches.
• Training in behaviour management such as Team Teach / PBM / MAPA / THRIVE is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Deliver an alternative education curriculum tailored to individual learners (ASD/ASC/SEMH).
• Identify emotional and educational needs and respond with appropriate learning activities.
• Engage with parents to support learning at home and set boundaries.
• Safeguard learners and work within a dynamic, supportive environment.
