Job summary

Elementa Support Services in Bristol is seeking a SEND 1:1 Learning Support Mentor ASD/ASC, SEMH to support primary and secondary pupils with EHCPs across the South West. The role involves delivering an alternative education curriculum and creating tailored learning activities for learners who have experienced trauma or disengagement.

The position is a 1-year fixed-term, temp-perm via a 60-day trial, working 9:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential progression as the provision expands.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners who have SEMH and ASC/ASD needs.
• Training in positive behaviour management such as Team Teach / PBM / MAPA / THRIVE desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and improving academic and personal outcomes.
• Ability to engage parents and support home boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an alternative education curriculum tailored to individual learners.
• Create learning activities around each learner's needs.
• Support progression within a revolving-door provision model.
• Engage with parents to support behaviour management and progress.
