Job summary

Randstad Staffing is assisting a Horley school to recruit staff to support students aged 5-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs. Roles are September start, term-time hours only, giving holidays in school breaks.

The position offers daily pay of £95-£105 and a structured day from 8:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. DBS checks and safeguarding responsibilities are part of the role, with remote site access and driving duties likely.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service or willingness to apply
• GCSE English and Maths at grades 4/C or above
• Minimum 3 to 6 months of relevant experience with behaviour that challenges
• Valid driving licence and vehicle access due to remote site
• Ability to assist pupils aged 5-16 with personal care
• Trauma-informed approach to supporting students
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.
