The Education Network is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant in South Birmingham to provide vital 1-2-1 support for students with SEMH needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to promote engagement, positive behaviour and emotional regulation in a nurturing, supportive environment.

This role offers ongoing guidance from leadership and teaching staff, a competitive daily rate based on experience, and the chance to develop professionally within a caring Alternative

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
• Strong behaviour management, empathy and resilience.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1-2-1 support for SEMH students.
• Support pupils to stay engaged and focused in lessons.
• Help students develop positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers to support learning and behaviour management.
• Build trust with students to encourage engagement and progress.
• Support students who may face barriers to learning.
• Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
• Contribute to a safe, structured learning environment.
